If you are doing an Escape Wedding...you are required to do a 4 night stay, right? Can you use your DVC points and stay at a DVC Resort and have that count towards your 4 night stay or do they want you to stay on property and pay "cash"?

The DVC points count... that's what we were going to use, although we are now marrying in the UK and having a Disneymoon.

Yes! DVC points can be used for your 4-night minimum stay.

This is what we are doing and couldn't have afforded the Boardwalk any other way.

We have 5 nights at the Boardwalk in a 1-bed villa and 5 nights at POR.

We had a booking for POR for the entire 10 nights and gave the reservation number to Disney when we booked the wedding. We changed the booking to 5 nights when we were able to book DVC and it was no problem at all.

We weren't able to book DVC until after the booking date for the wedding so did it this way instead.
