DVC member website down again?

This is getting ridiculous. I tried a few days ago to get some info off the member website and I couldn't get on. It said "The page you are trying to access is currently not available" with all the other vacation club links surrounding it. When I clicked the "member login" at the top right of the screen, I get the same message. Now I got that message when I typed in www.dvcmember.com.

Am I just unlucky or is there a different web address?

Maybe it is your browser or cookie settings? I'm using ie7 and I just got on dvcmember.com, no problem

You need to accept cookies from go.com

Was on earlier today and just checked again now. No problems here either. (IE 7, Avast Anti Virus, Current Java Run Time).

How did you get into the member site Kurby? I am still waiting for my password stuff to come in the mail

This is more an FYI, but in the last Vacation Magic there was a statement about the member website getting a major facelift. New menus, etc. I haven't gone back to double-check, but I thought it was coming very soon.

Sometimes with these types of major site changes problems can occur. Not saying that this was the reason that caused the ops problem, it probably wasn't but just thought everyone should know.

From the time i posted my message until the first reply was 30 min. Knowing my luck within that 30 min it probably went back up after I gave up checking. I just checked tonight at 10:20 pm and all is well.

What I've found is that after I log in, I get that same "page is not available" message. I just ignore it, and click on that page on the link for "Member Login". When I click there, it takes me to the DVC Member home page (no further log in required) and I can access my points, etc.

It does seem to be a glitch, but that's how I've gotten around it. I just did it while typing this response.

MS can't take reservations on the phone this morning! They expect it to be available by 11 AM. Drat! We decided to try to change things regarding our June ressie over the weekend! I was able to access the site over the weekend, so I see that the points used were current, so if this change works, we can bank some points!

Member Services' computers are still down. They're now saying after 1:00.

It does appear to be a sporadic thing. I was able to get into the main page of dvcmember.com as well as the page that lists the different DVC resorts, but I couldn't get into MyDVC. Now, when I tried to get in, everything is working fine.

I've been getting this message too.

The DVC website has been really buggy for us lately, I'm hoping that this gets worked out as they complete the improvements to the website they referenced in Vacation Magic.
