I am planning an intimate wedding with about 16 people. (we willbe at the beach Club from June 23rd to the 28th and then on the Wonder for a 3 day cruise 2007) Can I use my points to stay at the hotel of choice and just pay for the wedding gazebo and the champagne and cake or do I have to pay for the moderate hotel quoted in the packages? Also, I have a three day cruise planned starting June 28th. has anyone been married on the Wonder or the Magic and/ or Castaway Cay?

Don't know what you were looking at for the intimate package information....

But, for 2006 events, the base intimate package price is just shy of $2500 for the outdoor locations and higher for the WP. That includes the ceremony stuff (flowers, photos, cake & champagne, etc) except for the officiant.

You have to book a four night stay on property and give your reservation number/confirmation info to the FTW department within a few days of booking your FTW or the wedding gets cancelled.

Since you are wanting to say onsite at a Vacation Club property instead of a "regular" resort, I would call the FTW dept. to find out if it qualifies. I know that Janet2K started her vow renewal that way, so it has been done. But, that was a while ago and we know how Disney loves to change the rules on everything at the drop of a (sorcerer's) hat!

You just have to have 4 nights on site, cash or points it's all good. You can even do Pop Century or All Stars no problems.

I stayed at SSR using my points for my wedding/honeymoon. No problem whatsoever.
