We are staying at the AKL using our DVC points this year. In reading the DVC member site at Disney, it states that parking at any of the vacation clubs is complimentary. Although, if you are staying at any of the other resorts is it also complimantary or do you have to pay? Parden me, I didn't make myself clear in this instance......that is if I wish to use valet service.

I do understand what the charge is daily, but just curious. Has anyone else every had to pay or did you get it the service due to DVC membership?

Thanks for you input.

Valet parking at non-DVC resorts is NOT a perk, even if staying at that resort on points. But, once you pay for the service, there are no more valet fees for that day at any resort, outside of normal tipping.

Even though you are staying on points, you will not get free valet parking at AKL. The free valet parking is available at any DVC resort with valet parking (BWV, BCV, VWL) and it does not even require that you be staying at a resort. You only need to present your DVC member card. (Of course, you should still tip.)
Someone recently reported Yacht Club honored the valet parking but that is not necessarily going to happen.

Once you have paid for a day of valet parking at AKL, they will give you a "pass" that you can present at any other resort -- GF, Poly, etc. -- and not have to pay again that day for valet service.
