DVC member, not staying on points?

Hi! I have a trip planned for Dec at SSR, which will be our first trip home. But I will be going in Sept with my 2 grandkids (2 & 4)and staying at a different resort, using cash, not points. Can I take them swimming in one of the pools at SSR, even though we aren't staying on points? Can I use the fitness room on that trip? I'm justing asking...thank you for your help.

You have to be staying on points to poolhop. I'm not sure about the health club.

UNLESS you live in the Greater Orlando area and just want to cool down! Then choose which ever one you like! Since Disney only checks ID at BCV they apparently don't care!
