DVC Member just can't make it home.

Are there any other DVC members who have not had the chance to make it home? I have been to DVC more times (3) as a non member renting points, doing an II trade into DVC, and reserving directly through CR. I finally broke down and bought my own points a year and a half ago, and another trip got cancelled. (DH took a job over seas and we may be joining him) Sigh...I just hope this isn't a trend in our DVC vacation plans. I'll just have to keep reading other people's trip reports until I get there myself.

Its taking us two years to get to our "home" VWL.
We rolled our first years points to this year and in Nov we are cruising on the Magic.
We spent 9 nights at the Wilderness Lodge in Oct (before we bought into DVC) so we're skipping a year.

It took me well over a year to get home after we purchased.

I'm sorry you won't make it "Home" this year. This will be my first year NOT making it down also. We had to cancell our plans and it's broken my heart.

But believe it or not, I'm planning next year's trip!!

So you and I can "read the trip reports" together and keep planning and dreaming!
