DVC member dining plan question

I can SWEAR that I read in a thread that, new for 2011, if you are a DVC member you can buy the dining plan by the day and swap around to have deluxe one day, then regular the next, all to fit into your vacation. But for the life of me I cannot find the thread I was reading that contained the information. I do not personally own DVC but my girlfriend does and I passed that information on to her to help with her planning and MS is telling her no. But we all know how CM's sometimes get there info incorrect.

With the latest systems upgrade, DVC is now allowed to have the Dining Plan broken up any way they want it. However, the DVC reservation has to be broken up into segments. Each segment can have a different number of people and any kind of dining plan, or no dining plan at all. I'll see if I can find the thread about it, but it's in the DVC section on this board. I've also heard that because it's so new, it's a nightmare to deal with it. I would suggest that if the MS person you're speaking with doesn't know about it, call back or ask for a supervisor.
