DVC member celebration on the Magic

I’m cruising on the Magic in February. Do they still have a DVC member celebration on embarkation day? Navigators from January 2018 list celebration. Navigators in March and April list DVC preview. Is this still the gathering with a character and some games and prizes? My family enjoyed doing this on our last cruise. Thanks!

Yes, they do! How long is your cruise? Our cruise this August was 7 nts--we had the DVC Member Celebration between dinner times (ours was at 7:45PM as European sailings have later dining times) on embarkation day--free drinks, game/giveaways, DVC info...trying to get you to buy more. We also had a DVC Member Mixer later in the week at 5PM--that was just free drinks and sitting around relaxing. Not sure if they had a character meet for the first night--we got there late. When we did it 2 yrs ago on the Wonder, the character meet was before the celebration started.

(During a cruise, there are usually both DVC previews for people who aren't members AND the DVC Members gatherings.)
