^^This except they have upped prices recently. Plain colors start at $10 with others ranging $20-25
Wow..just ordered some not that long ago. Guess they will cost more for my October guests.
I wanna say they upped prices maybe early June...I used to think $5 or $10 for a new one each trip wasn't bad, but many of the new ones are $25. That adds up fast!
Any function where you physically need to touch the MB to a reader will work for (virtually) forever. Park entry, room entry, room charging, manual photo linking, etc. all draw any necessary power from the touch point and will continue to work as long as Disney supports the RFID technology.Don't forget that they last a minimum of two years. You don't need to buy each trip if you go every year.
Yes, those new prices are what we paid in late may for our August stay.^^This except they have upped prices recently. Plain colors start at $10 with others ranging $20-25
Technically the near field reader lasts virtually forever. It's just the far field reader or whatever the exact term is that only lasts about 2 years. You could still tap your band to things and it'll work on bands older than 2 years.Don't forget that they last a minimum of two years. You don't need to buy each trip if you go every year.
So there in no specific DVC discount
Just the general pre order price?
If you purchase on property, the DVC member merchandise discount would apply. So there in no specific DVC discount
For the ones available for having a resort stay, no additional discount on top of the already discounted price.Just the general pre order price?

I don't think it has always been that way.
Were they not free ?
I no longer need because of my Apple watch so using all the ones I have will last a long time I carry one as back up.
But my friends need them.
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/magic-mobile/Please explain. How can one use an Apple watch instead of magic band?
