Dvc Logo

While at WDW in December,I was looking all around for a members jacket in my size. When I couldn't find any I asked a cast member if there would be any more deliveries in my size before I went home. It was explained to me the logo was being changed and she wasn't sure when the new jackets would be in. Does anybody know if the logos have been changed and what do they look like? Also, is there anyway of getting these items shipped?

I heard this also, about a year ago, and have yet to see or hear any offical thing about a new logo!! I don't think they have any interest in getting new DVC merchandise in!! The DVC merchandise has been very sparse the last few years! And I think they are really missing the boat, I for one would love to see some new merchandise!

Changing the DVC logo again? Gee, they already cut us from 3 mountains to 2. Hopefully they won't get us down to just one mountain (or a little hill).

Interesting that DVC might tinker with the logo. With sales as brisk as they are, there is certainly no marketing reason to do so!

I think Disney is missing the boat for promotions that are free by getting that logo out there as much as they can!!! Folks see it at the kiosks in the park, and if folks wear the logo, it keeps the DVC visible. I would think they would WANT to get merchandise out there!!

Guess that will make all my currently logo'd stuff obsolete. Maybe that's the plan......

To answer your question about getting the merchandise, yes, you can. There's a number on any receipt you may have from any Disney gift shop....call it. You can then ask for the main merchandise number. Alternately, you can look up the number in one of the WDW guidebooks, such as The Unofficial Guide....etc. I saw it in one of the books, but not sure which one. You can also just call the main number and ask them for it.

There is no listing of items available for purchase from WDW. You have to "know" what you are looking for, generally at least. I was looking for a princess pillow I saw while down there over Thanksgiving. I called up and described the pillow and she was able to find it on her computer. I ordered it with many other items; mints, mickey ears for my car, mickey roni and cheese, and the Epcot Candlelight Processional CD. I paid $20 to have it shipped by Christmas Eve. Well, the whole package came but no pillow! It said that they were out of stock. Ugh. Buy it when you see it is my new motto! The Epcot CD I mentioned it wonderful by the way.....so is the show.
