DVC lanyard

Has anyone found where you can get a DVC lanyard? I have been asking around for years and no one has an answer. I see them on eBay but I would like to have one that I got (I know that sounds weird). Any help would be appreciated!

If they are the lanyard I'm thinking of, they are a promotional item used as gifts and prizes on Member cruises and the member update type meetings. You may want to attend one of those the next time you're at the world and see if you can get one, or if you purchased direct, you might call your guide and ask to see if they have happen to have any on hand that you could get on your next WDW trip.

We got them at the sales gathering they had at BLT for awhile. With Magic Bands I wonder if they'll continue to give out lanyards or if they'll just become something from the past.

Thanks! I can't do the cruise right now because I have a service dog. She is 14 1/2 but still going strong. I don't want to be where I can't be reached if something were to happen to her. Thank you for the offer for a lanyard! I may take you up on it

Sorry to hijack this thread, but why does having a service dog mean no member cruise? I hope that it's not because service dogs aren't allowed-that would seem to be against ADA rules. I hope it's your choice because of her age-possibly she might get sea sick?

The answer seems to be related to the dog's age (senior) and the risk of not being within quick range of veterinary services, if needed -- or leaving the dog behind and not being reachable should anything happen.

I personally at her age would hate to take her much of anywhere other than what she is used to now. I know one 1 cruise that allows dogs. The non profit organization she come from does a cruise just for people with their service dogs.

Maybe I'm wrong. They may offer it now. I know you can't take a service dog to Hawaii unless they have been quarantined (?) for 30 days.

My next service dog will be going on vacation with me where ever I go. I am going to do the cruise when something happens to my current dog. (I pray it still a long way off!)

Just FYI - this is completely wrong. service dogs are absolutely allowed on DCL ships. As for where they can "go," there are designated areas onboard specifically for this purpose for service dogs.

If you have not taken a DCL cruise for this reason, I suggest you call DCL and inquire about specifics.
