DVC Lanyard, Luggage Tags, etc.

We are in the process of completing our purchase at OKW, and I saw some people on Ebay selling Lanyards, luggage tags, etc. Is there another way we can get these? Is there a catalog? Since we bought a resale contract we won't get anything from Disney I assume. I'm just so excited we will finally be able to say that we are really.... Going Home

Unfortunatly is there is no catalog. I know I have seen members (me included) that have stated they wish that we did have a catalog. I think it would be a great idea! So, the only places to get the DVC merchandise is at the resorts or like you said, e-bay. Maybe they'll come out with a catalog some day.

At one time, there was a DVC logo merchandise catalog. It included many items not available in any of the resort stores. It was a full color, mail-order catalog. I still have a copy of the catalog and in the past have posted photos of the items, but no longer have them stored on my site. The last DVC member logo merchandise catalog was in 1994. Presumably, it was discontinued due to lack of interest from the membership at that time.

I agree that again offering such merchandise should have great potential for success (and profit). Perhaps if members let MS know something may again be offered ??

Most of the items you see on Ebay are not for purchase but rather are giveaways from member meetings (especially on Disney cruises) or things that are mailed to new members at the time they purchase (things like prints of the resorts, the backpack, the old beach bags).

We just returned from OKW yesterday and I saw numerous DVC items for sale. I believe you can call the DVC resorts direct, ask to speak with the gift shop and they can take the order and mail the items to you. There were jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, luggage tags, mugs, magnets, license plate brackets etc.. Good luck!!
