We already have a cruise booked for June 2010, I'm in the closing process of a Beach club <waiting for paperwork>. when I call for the Beach ressie can I attach this to my cruise portion. It will be my first time to book thru DVC so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm planning to call 11 months out and plan to do 5 days @ BCV before a 5 day cruise. Thru the cruise plan I have magical
express and plan to use it for airport/BCV, BCV/Ship, Ship/airport do the two ressie tie-in to each other somehow. also does DCL have a desk at BCV. and do you use your BCV Key onboard the ship.
Thanks from newbe:woohoo:

We are planning on doing a similar-type land/sea in 2010. Keep in mind that you are going to have 2 separate reservations, the land portion (through DVC) and the sea portion (through DCL). Disney does offer true land/sea packages where the land and sea portions are tied, but those vacations have to be booked as a package. And, even with those land/sea packages, while you can certainly register for the cruise portion via the kiosk at the resort hotel, you will have to get a new KTTW once you embark on the ship (the time savings come in because you don't have to register while at the Port; your information is already in the system).

But, again, in your case, you will have two separate reservations so you will have to do all of the registration stuff at the Port (unless that's changed since I went in 2007). Either way, congratulations on your BCV purchase!! :goodvibes

You will need to arrange one way Magical Express from the airport to your resort through DVC member services. You will need to have DCL transfers added to your cruise (if you do not already have them) to transport you from the resort to the port and from the port back to the airport.
