dVC in Disney?

Hi
I heard there are plans for a DVC resort in Disneyland California and had a few questions for the DVC gurus
I usually travel to southern California for 5-7 days EOY to visit Disneyland-
If i want to purchase Disney points, is it better for me to purchase at the most inexpensive price per point? (eg.vero Beach), or should I purchase directly at the site I will visit.
For a 5 day california visit 1 in 2 years how many points should I purchase?

Most folks will tell you "purchase where you want to stay" if possible. Post this on the DVC forum, you'll get some better advice than mine.

Purchase where you want to stay for the 11 month booking advantage. The amount of points required can't be determined until the point chart for the resort is published.

i definitely expect if they announce a california/DL DVC that it will be next to impossible to get in at the 7 month mark...which means you will need to buy there, rather than vero or a WDW resort.

this will be a small DVC - so yes buy there.

that say - Disney has say nothing.

I don't believe anymore until the guides start selling points.

then and only then (to me) it is a DVC resort.

expecting the annoucement to be at the end of this year.

I agree, I purchase BWV for it's the place that I want to stay the most.
