We stayed in the Kona Coast II in August 2006. We really like this resort and would definitely consider staying there again. The grounds were really nice. The pool was great. It was a great location to everything. Not too close, but not a very long drive. My only problem was housekeeping. While the majority of the room was great, our showers were not what I would call clean. I would not let anyone take a shower until I bought some soft scrub and cleaned them. Note the build-up on the shower doors in the secondary bathroom. We didn’t use this one. This did not ruin our vacation, but if they had been clean, I would have had no complaints.
Kitchen – tiled counter tops, Tiled floor, older appliances, but worked great.
Living Room – Furniture comfortable. Sofa Bed comfortable. Settee under table great for board games.
This was the secondary bathroom off the kitchen/living room.
Bedroom – bed very comfortable.
This was the bathroom off of the bedroom
Our Lanai
Picnic areas like these are scatter all around. These pictures are from our lanai.
Very nice grounds and playground for young ones.
I never went in there. Even to take the picture. The blur is from the glass.
My sons favorite spot. He loved the pool. The Pool Bar was nice. We ate lunch there a few times. You can also watch the sunset from the hot tub. (I have no idea who these people are, but I needed a picture before it got too dark)
There is no beach at this resort. It back up to a golf course, but the sunsets were lovely. I just missed this one. Had to go back and get the camera and was late.
