DVC - How do you rent if you're not an owner?

I've been all over the place trying to figure out where to stay. Now the idea of more than one room is appealing. I went online to disney.com and it seems the only thing i could find was a studio on any of the DVC properties. We are looking for 1 BR suite. Where do you go about getting info on this?

read this thread and scan the FAQ on the rental board and come back if you have more questions.

you should also be aware that availability through disney.com is independent of availability through renting from a DVC member. (there may be one and not the other available.)

There is a rent/trade board right here on the DIS. Owners rent their points, and will book a room for you. Others more experienced in the process can probably give you more details.

CRO (Disney Reservations) DOES rent the 1 BR and 2 BR DVC rooms when available, but you may have to call them directly for availability.
