dvc golf membership (dgm) question

if you have a dgm can you use it if you are not staying at a dvc resort or hotel at wdw? also, does dvc provide transportation to all their courses if you are staying at a dvc resort

I don't think it matters if you are staying at a resort but you may want to verify that. We just got back from a trip where we used it to play and it worked out perfect. We played 3 times. Magnolia, Lake Buena Vista, Osprey Ridge. We drove to one and used resort transport for the others. Basically they just call a cab for you and give you a voucher that covers the cost and gratuity. It was a breeze. Also, if you are playing more than one place just leave your clubs at the course. They move them for you and are ready the next day. Plus you get a free Mickey bag tag! I'm just bummed I won't get to use the membership again this year. But at 50.00 it payed for itself on the first use at Magnolia. I brought a guest and he payed for half of it. VERY GOOD PERK in my opinion.
