DVC Gift Cards

I leave today and I really wish I had it, but it isn't here.
I guess I will have to save it for my next trip. It would've been nice to have but It's not like I won't go again.

I'm sorry you haven't received yours! If you don't mind, when was your phone interview? Mine was the end of Sept. Clearly this shows they still have a few "issues". I thought I had read elsewhere that someone was able to arrange getting one there? I'm not sure if you want to call before leaving and perhaps they could have it sent to your resort and waiting for you at check in?

I hear ya - I know I can use it later and I always say we might not go next year but it really might be true next year since we've had the Dream booked for next year for quite some time. We'll see - it WILL get used one day...

I called DVC today to ask where mine is since it's been way over 30 days. They said they would call me back by tomorrow and let me know. I leave next Wednesday.

((not like I won't be going back -- DL in January / WDW in May and Nov 2012))

Update: I finally got my gift card yesterday!! I had made two other phone calls to them after it didn't arrive and the last cm told me she emailed, voicemailed, and IM'd the contact person. That evening I got a phone call from FedEx with an automated message and a tracking number and hoped it was them. It was and I got it yesterday afternoon!

It felt like I really worked for it!

It took me several months to get mine. I wanted it for a trip I was taking last May. It never came before the trip. After explaining this to disney two days before my trip, the DVC rep apologized and actually hand delivered it to my resort. I thought that was pretty good service.

Is this DVC email, about the $25 Gift Card for listening to a pitch, something that someone could post on this thread, or is it specific to each person receiving it?

I would be interested in doing it, but I did not get the email.

Fed Ex delivered mine yesterday. It took a while to get it, but I didn't have to make any follow up calls, either.

Perfect timing for our upcoming trip!!

I guess for once I was lucky. Called on Tuesday evening, got my package of info on Friday. The following Monday (6 days after inital call) my gift card arrived. So glad too, since we leave in 22 days!
