DVC Fantasyland preview question

I got an email this morning with information to register for a DVC preview of the new Fantasyland on November 4 or 5. We will be in WDW for the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon.

I have a question on who will be allowed to attend. I am the DVC member and my husband is an associate on our account but does not have a member card. We will also be travelling with 2 friends who will be staying with us.

Will we all be able to attend or would I be the only one allowed?

I rec'd the same e-mail. I just assumed I would be able to bring my husband(also a DVC member) and our 2 kids. However, after reading the e-mail a 2nd time, I'm not sure either. Maybe someone could clear up the confusion.

I have been patiently waiting for this!!! So excited. Email said up to 3 guests with the member.

Could you post the email? We didn't receive an email yet. We were planning on signing up for a passholder event.

bummer, i was really hoping for nov 3! got wait listed for the D23 morning slot for Ariel since that whole thing was a fiasco, and i'm not getting my annual pass until i arrive on oct 29. good luck to everyone who will be there when it's available to us dvc members!

The DVC News confirmed that members can register for themselves and up to three guests. I would assume your children would not be considered members as their names are not on the title of your DVC membership, but they could be guests.

I'm also curious about how many guests. My wife and I are listed as owners on our membership as we both went on the deed. Do we each get 3 guests? We are going with another family and I am hoping this is possible. Also, the times are in 3&1/2 hour blocks, would we be able to get done before the 3&1/2 hours or is it a guided type tour. I wouldn't really want to be forced to do 3&1/2 hours. I am thinking this is not the case since the email says "self guided tour" of BOG. Anyone know?

Same for us. Waitlisted for Ariel for the 3rd. That is really the day that we can do it.
I will need to see if we can rearranged somethings for the 4th.

I have a question about the merchandise..........if anyone knows.

is it really available only for those that are attending?? I ordered before sign-ups started and a friend did too (and she is not D23, AP or DVC). It doesn't ask for numbers for any of those things.

New Fantasyland Commemorative Collection merchandise was created especially for special Guests invited to attend the preview event. The New Fantasyland Commemorative Collection will be available for sale online only until October 21, 2012. To shop the New Fantasyland Commemorative Collection

yup, my plane leaves to go home the night of the 3rd, so that was my only option. oh well, if it doesn't work out (the waitlist), then i'll be back in april. guess that's the good thing about dvc, i know i'll be back not too far in the future

I just ordered 2 of the New Fantasyland pins and listed my DVC member number on the order form and it gave me a discount off the total.

I'm going to change some things around and hopefully go to the preview on Nov 5th. Does anyone know how many reservations they're taking for each time period and for each itinerary I've been waiting for this to open up for DVC members. I'm hoping to attend Ariel at 12:30 - 4pm.

This is great news. I missed out on the D23 preview, and I am still waiting on my AP so I can try and sign up that way. I would much rather try and get a DVC preview.

I am also wondering about the time, and how long it would take. My wife and I have an ADR at 7:30 at AP on the 4th. I would love to be able to get in to see the preview at 5 before our ADR and make it part of our Disney date night. Anyone think that might be cutting it to close? All she really would care about is riding LM and meeting Ariel.

Also, the email stated:
"As a Member of our Disney Vacation Club family joining us at Walt Disney World® Resort during this special time, we'd like to invite you to be among the first to experience it!"

So I wonder if they only sent it to people who currently have DVC reservations.

it also says if you want to book the preview beyond Oct. 15 to call..........so that does that mean all DVC will be able to attend even if they can't reserve the 15th??

She didn't have a problem ordering..............just no discount.
So anyone can order?? It isn't really for those invited to attend?? Not sure........or will they cancel her order?

Not sure because it also says:
Bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis and will not open until Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. 7:30 p.m.

Also don't know if we are supposed to call on Monday or if a link will be provided, I might call tomorrow and ask how to sign up since it wasn't clear in the email.

I assume a link will be on the dvc member page. I don't want to miss out this time!!

Monday is only DVC, right? The other previews were only on the weekends.

I don't want to miss out either which why I won't assume anything and am going to call to see if I can get an answer.
It seems like monday is only for DVC all the other ones are sat/sunday.
