DVC- Disney financing. Is it reported to credit bureau each month?

Hi.

We are recent members of DVC 10/03 at SSR. We are doing some shifting of our various finances. We financed the DVC through Disney. Can anyone tell me if that appears on your credit report? We haven't looked at ours recently. I'm sure they would at least appear as an inquiry when they were reviewing our application.

For whatever reason, DVC financing does *not* appear on your credit report.

However, if someone defaulted, then I expect it might!

Our guide told us that they do not report to the credit bureaus.

However, their inquiry when they check your credit does appear on your report.

Thanks for the info on this, DW and I are going to be re-financing (again) in the next month or so but don't want to miss out on DVC specials. If it truly doesn't show up as a liability then we are going to pull the trigger on this a lot sooner. Thanks again.

I just reviewed my credit report yesterday, and the inquiry was posted as "DVD".

And I was really surprised to read that they don't report the loan to any credit bureau. So I just called (12:05 07/29/04) the Account service at MS, and they confirmed that they don't report the loan to the credit bureau.
