DVC discounts - bikes/boats/etc.

So we are headed down on 2/16, and the parks are looking BUSY!! We have the Disney Deluxe Dining plan all set. Is there still a program for unlimited use of bike/boats and whatever else can be used? I remember way back packagaes available. But we didn't do a package as we have our tickets already. Or DVC discounts on renting stuff? I think we can get free use of tennis rackets and balls just not sure.

I've never seen a package with unlimited use of boats, bikes, etc.

We own at OKW and at Hank's Rent 'n' Return you get free use of tennis rackets/balls, ping pong paddles/balls and shuffle board. Inside Community Hall, you can play foosball, billiards, air hockey and darts, all for no fee.

You can also check out DVD's and games, too!

DVC members do get a discount on rentals of boats, bikes, etc. I think it is 10%. but rates are posted outside of Hank's and they probably have a sheet listing all the rental rates.

What if you'r a member staying at a hotel resort and not OKW? Do you have to go to OKW or can you get the discount anywhere?

I can't speak for the other resorts, but don't they all have a Community Hall/Rental Facility?

I know we've rented boats at DTD and gotten our DVC discount.

(When we've rented boats at DTD, we WEREN'T staying at WDW, just showed our DVC membership card.)

thanks - hubby just reminded me it was like 12 years ago, we did one of those all inclusive packages, meals, room, passes and all motor sports,etc. It was great, but I think you can only get it if you are staying in one of the hotels. plus it was very expensive. I though there was a bike/boat plan will keep digging. You pay a flat fee and just show up to rent.

Well I did find something, it's called the Family Plan? unlimited boats and bikes (not the surreys) for 211.04 up to 7 days? I found it on the UK disney site, but can;t find it on the us site? weird!

I have heard about the unlimited plan that they had but understand that they discontinued it at least a year or two ago.

Oh - I found where I read this on the WL resort thread. It's way down in the post but it was discontinued July 1, 2007

think the discount is 10% off bikes and boats - and it was at all WDW resorts - not just the DVC one. So would check with the Polyn first - okay love seven seas lagoon - although bay lake is okay too.

they did away with the family plan - years ago. It was only for 5 people. everyone had to be in the same room.

Just back from CB and they gave me a 10% discount on renting a sea racer with my DVC card.
