dvc discounts at DL

Can anyone tell me if there are any DVC discounts available at DisneyLand?

I am wondering about:

Room rates?

ticket prices?

parking?

We are planning on going to DL in April, but this is our first year as DVC owners as well! Thanks!

Fuuny you should ask that. I was actually reading my DVC manual last night (after 3 years) and saw in there if you book CA or Paris on points you get free park passes. My plan is to call in the morning and check. It explains why the points per night seemed on the high side.

That must be a new thing. We used points at GC last year, no passes for us, in fact, the CM's at GC were unclear on exactly what DVC was and were skeptical of our reservation for some reason. We had to show them the confirmation letter etc, they had never heard of DVC and couldn't find us in the system. It was weird so if passes are a new perk, make sure you get it in writing somewhere.

Page 64 of the Member Guidebook lists the point chart for the DL Hotels. There is no mention of passes being included, as dbond mentions.

Page 66 of the Member Guidebook lists the point chart for the DLP Hotels and includes the statement "Reservation Points listed include admission to Disneyland Paris Theme Park and Walt Disney Studios Park for the length of the stay for the number of registered guests up to the maximum number of guests permitted in the accommodation."

At one time, I believe that DL admission was included with DVC stays at the DL Hotel, but that practice ended a while ago.

I looked at the same pages that you did and come to the ame conclusion.......passes come if you go to Paris, but not Anaheim!

Guess I'm a little behind. I have no idea where the current year is. I was looking in my binder and it is the 1999 Member Benefit Guide Book. I am not sure how it may or may not have changed but if you have a current one, it was on page 21 - Exhibit C, section 4 (Theme Park Admission) part b

We are heading back to DL and the GC next month. It will be our second trip to both. It is a great resort with theming equal to WL at WDW. We are paying cash -- thought the points were a bit high to use them there. They had been running specials on the park passes because of the poor attendance at CA park. I wish we could use our APs at DL (no way that would ever happen)!

I don't think we get any benefits as DVC there.
