Dvc discount wuestion

Hi all. Question for the group. Going this fall with my brother and a friend staying dvc. My friend is big into merchandise and souvenirs. If I’m with him at a store could I show my dvc membership to get him a discount or would it just be better to buy it myself and have him pay me back? What about at restaurants? Parking if one of them are driving?

The rule is that you have to make the purchase or pay the restaurant tab to get the discount. That said, some CMs are more lenient than others. To avoid issues, I'd pay and have them pay me back later.

As far as parking, as long as both of them are on the DVC resort reservation, they park for free at the parks just like all Disney resort guests do. Either the driver or the passenger (the car can pull up to a booth on either side) can just let the parking lot attendant scan MB or room key.

Charge everything to the room. Then night before go and settle the account. They can take mutilple payments, so your brother can use his cc for his purchases and you for the rest.
