Has anyone renewwed their AP recently with the DVC discount? I'm just curious about a few things. I have to renew mine in May.
Did you renew at the parks?
Did you renew over the phone? Whom did you call?
What did you need to prove DVC and family/home address?
Thanks!

Keeping this alive and up top 'cause I would like to know also.

Anyone out there??

I was planning on renewing our AP's at the guest relations desk of the first park we go to after it expires (ours expires after the first 3 or 4 days of our trip). I assumed that you would just show your DVC membership card. Why would you need proof of home address? Also, doesn't your resort ID show that you are a DVC member? I have forgotten - can you purchase AP's at your resort? Thanks.

I renewed my AP in Jan. I called MS, gave them my member #, and they said I'd get a call in a day or two. The call came in (2 days later), I gave "Elizabeth" my credit card info, and a few weeks later, I had my renewal voucher. :Pinkbounc

We didn't renew, but we did convert our AP to a PAP in January. We did it at the parks and all it took was a picture ID and our DVC member card. I can't see why you'd bother to do this ahead of time over the phone since you'd still need to stop at guest services to get your actual AP anyway.

I'm renewing with my immediate family so we all get the discount. This means we all have to live at the same address. Also, I waanted to renew ahead of time so I can get the points on my disney visa.

Can anyone tell me how much the AP renewal rate is? I see where it says that DVC members get $75 off the rate, but what is the actual rate? We are debating on getting AP's when we are down there in May. My husband is in the military, though, and our vacation schedule is NOT predictable. We usually have to book 45 days out or less. Any advice on buying the passes or not? We will be there 5 days in May...other than that...we may just get to Hilton Head for Thanksgiving. What should we do? To buy or not to buy...that is the question.

I renewed one of our APs over the phone with Member Services. I did it that way because it was almost at the end of the 30 day grace period to renew. I was given a will call number and picking up the new AP at WDW was very easy. Do make sure you have your DVC card with you. For renewals, all the info is already in the system so it is very fast.

iloveusa825, if you do buy APs, you will probably find yourself returning to WDW sooner than you think. ;)
