Do any of the restaurants on property give a DVC discount anymore? I am looking for a discount for table service. Thanks!

They do still do some discounts. If you go to the DVC sites under Perks they will list all the discounts you get. They break it down by location, discount amount, and what meal is discounted. Some places only take it for lunch while others do lunch and dinner.

There are not a ton of options. Have you ever thought about Tables in Wonderland? That might be worth it depending on how long your stay is and how much your normally spend on food. http://tablesinwonderland.com

A few that I know ...yak&yeti...hollywood&vine...garden grove...sanaa...boma...via napoli ...whispering canyon...portabella.

Try this too, it's not an app but you can add the site to your home screen on your phone. This was created by someone on the easywdw forums and I've found it really nice for discount information (I can never remember).

Dean, you are right, it is definitely much longer than I have ever seen! I was looking under the wrong tab on the DVC website so I didn't see them. It's nice to know they are adding some perks.

I've gotten into the habit of just asking every server of they have a discount for. ..and then name everything I have at the time (dvc, disney visa, ap, tiw ). The servers have always been pretty good about knowing what they take and which one is the largest discount.

The problem is they often don't know and this method is likely to miss discounts though it may all produce discounts that aren't on the list as well.

We only got a lower rate when the price for DVC was set for the year and the price went up midyear- DVC did not have the midyear rate hike- so until their is another rate increase DVC will have the same price- if the raise the rates midyear DVC will still have these prices.

That's not been my experience. I have a decent knowledge of what discounts are available and the CMs are usually spot on.

I've seen a number of posts and had a few personal experiences where they didn't know. Even if most do, it's those few that don't that'll get you.
