Son of a gun. Oh well, it is what it is I suppose. Thank you for confirming!Yes. Sorry you missed it. There wasn't much notice at all.

What perks? There are no annual passes with no guarantee of what the AP program will look like if/when it comes back, are there any other perks of value that aren’t currently suspended?
I am probably being overly optimistic, but I am thinking with them continuing to raise the minimum points they will eventually start adding some more extra benefits to the DVC membership. It just make sense to raise the minimums before you started adding back benefits.
Smart thought on VGF2 pricing! I hope you’re right.I also think the rise is to allow them to price the new VGF points going on sale lower for new buyers. Since they have to buy an extra 25 points than they did in May, they can come out with a starting point a little lower and closer to RIV and still end up at the same point for sales $$$.
But, I do hope, like you, that we do start seeing some extra benefits!
If Disney goes with that strategy, it won’t be to do buyers any favors, it’ll be to maximize sales by requiring new buyers to buy more points, and spend more money, creating the illusion of a better deal with a slightly lower per point cost. Who knows, by Jan. the minimum might even be up to 175. But it could help benefit DVC members looking to add on.I'm not sure I agree that this is a forward looking master plan to save us moneybut hey, maybe the dam is beginning to burst on all that pent up Schultz/Chapek generosity!

Good point, but its hard to believe that the minimum new buyer buy-in will plateau at 150 points forever, especially if the point charts at DLT are on the high side. I guess only time will tell.Possibly, but I doubt it unless that's also the minimum new buyer buy-in. I suppose that's a possibility but 150 seems like what the goal has been for a while now. And requiring more than 150 doesn't make much sense when the next 2 properties are going to be all and majority studios, respectively. (assuming the VGF expansion and Disneyland tower are the next 2 coming.)
Probably was 150 then. It was 100 when we bought VGF in 2014. I think when OKW was first offered it was over 200 points.Wasn't it 150 awhile ago? I am not a DVC member any more, but when we bought in 2008 (direct from Disney), we bought 150 and thought we ended up with that amount because it was the minimum. Could be misremembering though. I hope it won't go to 175. We're looking to buy again and I already have sticker shock. BWV was $95 a point when we purchased.

Such a bargain (in retrospect)!
