We plan on purchasing the DDP for the first time during our DVC stay in April. Can I use Disney gift cards to purchase the DDP through DVC? Looking at it online to add through my dashboard it shows only an option to use a credit card. If I call in will I be able to use a gift card?

Yes. Just keep in mind that if you cancel the DDP it will be refunded to that gift card so best to make sure that you keep it just in case.

Just making sure, are you "renting" points or are you the DVC owner? If renting, I believe the DDP has to be purchased through the owner of the points.

I've paid for the DVC DDP with a gift card many times, but you do have to call member services and the member has to add it. I wish they would add the gift card option online!

Thanks everyone! I’m the owner and I did end up calling and speaking with member services and was able to add paying by gift cards!
