DVC - Dining Plan - Guest Question

I know this has been asked before but I can't find it when I search.

We are staying in our two bedroom for 1 week and have the Dining Plan for the entire time. My dh invited his friends to spend one night with us. I know that if I add them to the reservation than they have to be on the DDP for the entire stay like us - that won't work! What are the consequences if I do not add them to the reservation at all?

This isn't a occupancy problem because we will only have 4 in our villa and are adding 2 more people for 1 night. This is only a DDP logistical question.

If they are not listed on the room reservation they will not get a room key and can't take advantage of EMH. They also would not be eligible for DME.

It would also be dishonest not to add them if you know they're coming.
