We just got off of a 3-night on the Wonder last week. The Member Celebration that we went to was on the day we departed at 2:30. They had coffee/water/juice and some chocolate chip cookies for refreshments. The gave every family a little sack with
DVC hats, lanyards, and some misc. paperwork. Every family filled out a little ticket for a drawing.
They did some introductions and then went around the room for people to introduce themselves. Then they played a bingo game where you found people who had been certain places for traveled the furthest as an ice breaker game.
They also picked 4 people from the audience to be on a panel. Then they drew names from the tickets and asked that person a question. That person could select one of the people from the panel to answer the question. The person whose name was drawn received a prize. They ask various DVC questions so that it is fun and informative. During that time they also went over current incentives, etc.
They gave away some really nice prizes, IMHO. They had beach towels that folded up into a tote, collapsable coolers, drawstring backpacks and a few other things that I can't remember right now. People who were on the panel received nice leather document holders. Everyone who attended received a nice "Captains "Log" book in their cabin that night.
It was cute and kind of fun. It is over in time for the lifeboat drill, so it does not last very long and is a nice something to do before the drill.
Hope this helps!
