I know AKL has a club level dvc option, but what if you are staying at another dvc resort, can you pay to upgrade your reservation to CL?

You cannot upgrade a DVC reservation by paying cash. The timeshare side of the resorts is separate from the cash reservation side. Even the AKV villas in AKL club level are a separate inventory from the club level rooms.

At Jambo House, there are only five two bedroom lockoffs on the six floor that are considered Concierge Level villas. At least one is handicap accessible. Three are "savanna" view and two are pool view. The savanna view is somewhat blocked by the overhang of the roof, so it's not the best savanna view. If you don't own there, you will seldom find them available at seven months out unless someone has suddenly cancelled a reservation.

I realize the answer is probably still 'no', but WL is the only resort that offers CL lounge access for standard hotel rooms (additional $99/night). You can sign up for it when you check in. Can DVCers staying at WL do this -- has anyone tried?
