DVC CL rooms?

Why hasn't Disney added more CL rooms into thier inventory with DVC? Either with new properties being built or converting regular hotel rooms into DVC. Is it cost prohibited for them? Or could this be an option in the future they might explore?

I honestly have thought about this very subject. Could you imagine a point premium for a club level theme park view room?

The only one I know of is at AKL and it seems to be a popular accommodation, so it surprises me they haven’t expanded the idea. I thought we might see some in the new poly tower but that does not appear to be the scenario.

It is because they do not wish to commit to the amenity over a 50 year term. They didn't want the units at AKV but had to do it due to structure.

Club service is contracted with the resorts, DVC does not operate any of its own food services or kitchens. So if the resorts change course, DVC is stuck.
