A DVC lounge in the Canada pavilion … Fantastic!…. they could even charge us adult drinks up there!

Probably. Darn if it requires a bus it a no go even though I love desserts. I’m still such a WDW novice.

We just waited until we were already at DS and then just took the boat!

Yes, the various villages of CBR, with different styles and colors of buildings for different Caribbean islands, do look like different resorts!

Well, I'm on my way now for Easter week since that is always our spring break, and, IMO, I saw a lot of availability at 7 months out. As I recall, I basically had my pick of 1 BRs at 7 months including all BWV views and BCV. And, even just a few months ago in January, I saw a lot of availability at my home resorts, CCV and RIV. Of course, 1 BRs are always the most available, but I did not think it would have been so easy to get BCV or a resort view BWV 1 BR.

If you peruse the dvcfieldguide.com availability tables, 7-month availability for Easter tends to be a lot better than other major holidays IMO. I think the high points combined with the fact that it isn't everyone's spring break makes it easier. Now, maybe if too many spring breaks converge on the particular week, it could get a bit rougher.

I hope this holds true in a couple of years. We get military tickets, which are blocked the week before and after Easter, but in 2028, our spring break is NOT one of those weeks. Have points at Poly & BLT, but hoping to try a new place for that trip!

I would not be surprised if you could! Haha. I will say I requested high floor and close to lobby - got one of the requests!

I’m losing track of what’s in and out of bounds to post here (sorry @Sandisw ) but yesterday we decided to explore a non-DVC resort just for fun - I hadn’t been to Port Orleans FQ in decades - the beignets lived up to the hype! Well worth the boat trip from DS.

Maybe if you start the post with: "We were staying at SSR and decided to take a trip just around the riverbend"?
