DVC Checkin Time Enforcement

It depends. My room was ready as early as 8:00 am and as late as 8:00 pm. I don't expect my room before 4:00 pm.

Wow, 8:00 pm! I hope Member satisfaction (or lack thereof) heard from you, or at the very least you got an apology from the management. That's really unacceptable.

We like to take an early flight just to get an extra day in. We have had luck upon checking in that our room was ready. However, on our last visit in Oct 2008, we arrived around 10:30 am and we were told that our room would be ready around 11:30. We went off and had breakfast at Spoodles. When I called to see if our room was ready, I was told to call back in a couple of hours. Needless to say, we went up to the check in counter at 3:50 pm to see if our room number has been assigned and released. We were told to check back at 4:00 pm. At 4:01pm, our room was released.

This past Sunday our room was ready for us at least two hours before it was supposed to be It worked out very well. Our luggage was in our room within two hours from when we landed in Orlando. Very efficient.
