Are there any famous people in our vacation club? Just wondering who might be a neighbor...

Don't know about any famous people. Seems to me, they'd probably spend the big bucks to stay at the concierge levels in the deluxe hotels, where the staff would be more used to dealing with celebrities.

Uncleromulus, are you in York County? I grew up in Glen Rock PA & still have family there. I now live in Lancaster county but you're the first DVC member I've seen from the area!!

I'm not sure how we'd know if they were members. There are some wealthy Arab families who belong -- some own the maximum number of points. I once heard Katie Couric was staying in a Vero beach cottage. Back around the time of the first WTC bombing a guide hinted that a top NY law enforcement person owned at OKW as an escape from the terrible ordeal he had....not sure who it was but my guess was the NY FBI Director.

Many different actors have stayed at OKW while filming in Disney. Hulk Hogan and his "Thunder" series several years back come to mind.

I saw Whitney Houston at BWV pool with her entourage but, of course, I don't know if she was staying on points or cash.

I thought I had heard through these boards that Adam Viniteri had just bought at the new BCV's. He may not be famous to everyone BUT here in New England (Mass to be exact) he's the Patriots kicker that won us the Superbowl. I know our Boston paper showed a picture of him putting his hands in cement in MGM and in the parade at MGM. It was within that time period that someone here said they were talking to their guide who said that Adam was there signing paperwork.
