I completely understand the "two pools of rooms" when it comes to cash booking. I know that when a member trades out, their "room" is turned over to CRO to be booked with cash. My question is this...when you book with cash through member services, where are those rooms coming from? Are those the rooms that are "owned" by DVC in the form of unsold, ROFR'd or foreclosed points? If that is the case, is there a reason why those rooms aren't always available at the 25% member discount? Another question...who gets the money when a member books a cash room through MS? I would assume that it goes to DVC because they are essentially "renting" points to another owner, but after the MF's are covered, where does the rest go?
