DVC cash discount for room?

Hi...we are going to disney in April and not using our points.Saving them for the summer I know DVC members get some kind of room discount. Is that only for cash on villas or can we get a discount say if we go to the poly? or a regurlar room at Beach club? How much is the discount.

The discount isn't always available, but it is usually applied to member reservations.

The discount is 25% off rack rates, only on DVC villas, not regular WDW resorts. The room has to be booked through Member Services, not Disney reservations. Member cash rooms follow the same housekeeping schedule as point reservations.
