DVC Caps/t shirts/lanyards etc

Yes, they're available, but not in the quanity they should be. There are a limited amounts of DVC stuff at all the DVC Resort gift shops.

There have been lots of comments in the past where Members wanted a better selection. Personally I would like to see more DVC Resort specific stuff, rather than general DVC stuff. :smokin:

you cannot buy DVC stuff on the internet, you can buy them at each dvc resort store. they have a limit but very nice things. :rotfl: I am waiting for a BCV robe like the BC robes, so i can buy it and wear it down to the pool like the GF guests :lmao: no just kidding, but any DVC resort robe would be very nice. ;)

DH got me a BCV robe for Christmas and I bought him a VWL robe. We were both quite surprised on Christmas morning. DS thought it was riot, as he'd been in on both gifts.

You can buy a Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa robe at AP....don't know how that would go over at BCV though.....!

i must have missed them at easter time and christams :goodvibes i will check next week, thank you:banana:

Was I imagining things when I thought they used to check for your DVC member ID or some kind of proof you were a member before they let you purchase the DVC merchandise? This past trip at WL, they didn't ask to see our key cards or any indication that we were members; however I swear I've been asked in the past. Did they do away with checking altogether?

i have never been asked to see my members ID, except for buying dvc pins behind the register and valet parking, special dvc events.

Ah, maybe I was buying a pin one time and they asked for proof of membership. That makes sense. Glad to know I wasn't entirely crazy!

They had - what I thought was- a really great special on a beautiful DVC watch by Skagan at AP in SSR... They asked for my DVC card to purchase that.

you will have to go on a DVC members cruise to get one ;)

Thats a bummer too! You spend all that money for DVC membership, then you have to spend even more money on a cruise, just to get a lanyard.

OK, I just need to run that by the wife now, Who happens to get motion sickness and hates crusies. Maybe I should check e-bay too.

We just got off Wonder last month and went to both the DVC members' presentation and the general interest one for prospective members...got the lanyards and the cool stateroom door magnets and hats and pins at the members' presentation (although we did not use points for the cruise). Maybe they have special DVC lanyards for the members' cruises? Ours are blue and say Disney Vacation Club Member and have the little clear plastic Key to the World card holder snapped to the end.

At the prospective members' presentation they drew names for the exact same DVC branded merchandise given away at the members' event, so I think they are happy to have the free advertising whether people are members or not! As they are nearing the end of the 15th anniversary promotion, they'll probably be giving away LOTS of dated merchandise! Or they will end up at the Character Wearhouse in the Premium Outlet Mall!

I completely understand!! It seems as if EVERY TIME we go to WDW, I find another great watch that I musthave....then I spend hours trying to figure out a way to justify another watch to my wife!!!!

The DVC watch was easy since it was such an incredible bargain. Skagen.....mmmmmmm.....
