DVC Cancellation

What is the absolute latest that you can cancel a DVC reservation? I have [luckily] never had to cancel a trip within 30 days. But I am currently undergoing medical treatments and may have to cancel this weekend if a procedure is scheduled. I likely won't know until Friday sometime.

If I were due to check in on Saturday, is midnight on Friday the deadline? I know the points will go into holding- but trying to avoid losing them all together in the case of an emergency.

I would cxl by early Friday night. You should know by then and this will give a member time to 'grab' room for a last minute trip.

Day before check in...I would also not leave it until after 9:00 pm. If the website goes down, and MS is closed, you risk losing the points if you now have to wait until the open the next day.
