Dvc came through!!!

I tried to upgrade my existing but unused AP to a PAP with no luck two weeks ago. I had basically given up. Then an angel named ***** called me today and said not only could I upgrade it, but I also got a credit for the difference between the 2 AND it remains unused until we go on our trip next June!!!

I don't know if anyone else has had luck with this, but I wanted to pass along my good news!

This is exactly what they told me at Epcot when I tried to upgrade my current DVC AP that expires in May. They would not let me upgrade, but they did sell me a DVC PAP certificate for next year for $399 plus tax.

We are leaving in two weeks for WDW , I have prepurchased 4 of our AP (have will call #) need to buy 2 more and going for the PAP. Would loveto get the upgrade on all of them even with no credit. Did you call MS and they returned your call or was it a CM at ticketing?

I was purchasing another PAP yesterday, I have one at will call that I purchased in June for the higher price. I was told when I pick them up that I will get a credit for the higher priced one. I thought they weren't going to do that?!

I'm still not counting on it but it would be cool

Just a reminder that we do not allow CM names to be used, especially if they do something other CMs are specifically told not to do. It can lead to problems for the CM.

We upgraded our current AP's that expire at the end of the year to the new DVC PAP's at DHS member services. We did the upgrade the first day available, October 1st. I wonder if they have changed the upgrade policy since then?

I hope not because the CM at DTD told us there would be no issues upgrading when we returned in November to upgrade. I will keep my fingers crossed in three weeks when we go down that they can upgrade us.

I upgraded my AP that expires 2/2013 to the PAP for $15 at Guest Services at DHS on Saturday 10/13 without any problems at all. I also bought 2 PAP's for $399 each for my husband and myself to use after our current ones expire in February. On this trip alone, the 20% discount at WOD saved us over $60 so it was well worth the $15 upgrade!! Plus we are headed back in November too! Thank you DVC!!

I upgrade my ap that expires may 2013 to a PAP free. I did this at mk guest relations in the park

I asked about purchasing a PAP voucher for the 399 at the same time and was told I couldn't do that. This occurred last Wednesday.
