RE-EDIT: It just went through... Got our first reservation at our home resort booked... Riviera Resort here we come!

Oh no, hopefully since everyone was locked out you'll get the waitlist as there can't be too many ahead of you.

We booked a Tower Studio at Riviera for Black Friday to that Sunday. We just joined this past week when we were at Disney and have been dying to book our room. Happy we finally got it. I've been hitting refresh since 7:45am.

Looks like its back down for me. It would not let me modify a reservation so I closed out the browser and it wont let me log in.

It's still down for me. I'm just checking for longterm plans, but I feel really bad for everyone hoping to make waitlist requests and reservations today.

It needs it, I lost a reservation I was changing a few weeks ago, and the points got lost in the ether (MS did find them)

Take this with a grain of salt, but I just called MS and they said they hope to have it up and running within an hour. Let's hope!

I took the same survey! I've been asked to take the survey before, but this is the first time I have ever done it. I always do the surveys after the phone calls, and always rate the Cast Members 5 stars, but never the internet surveys. I took this one and let them have it. I told them their website is amazingly incompetent for the company that is perhaps the biggest popular entertainment giant in the world. They have some of the bet CGI. They use computers all the time, but they can't get anyone to write them a decent website?

Just booked my 2020 trip. Website worked well - since I wasn't worried about getting my 1 bedroom, I tried a bit too early on purpose. Got a message that said:
The booking window for your selected Resort(s) opens at 8:00 AM Eastern Time. Please check availability once the booking window opens.
Then there were two buttons, one to start the search over and the other to close and refresh results. First wiped out your choice and brought you back to the first page of the search. Second closed the window and brought you back to the search results so that you could easily try again when the window opened.

I like the way they did this. Big improvement over the confusing "all purpose" failure message that we used to get. I was done with the whole process in about 4 minutes. Could have been even less, but I decided to add my traveling companion right away instead of modifying the reservation later.

I was booking a BWV standard view 1 bedroom.

The website still doesn't seem to be working well. I can get all the way to the end of making the reservation and then when it goes to confirm it, I get the dwarfs. I had to borrow a few points and that went through, but not the actual reservation. Ugh!

Sorry that happened to you. Were you booking something right at 8 am Eastern? My guess is that the load on the servers is very heavy at that time due to the number of people chasing the more limited options for early December. Hope it all works out and you get what you need. Good luck!

Thank you. No I slept in so was just trying at around 10am EST. Hopefully I can get it to work soon. I am booking at 7 months for the summer so not as busy of a time.
