I think it would be fabulous if Disney allowed members to go online at the member's site and view the current availability of rooms. I realize it would need to be near real-time since things can change fast, but I'd love to be able to look at a month and see what locations and rooms were available. Especially when one is coordinating for a group where any changes have to be coordinated. Right now I call numerous times trying to cobble together a trip when I could have saved a lot of time with this type of application. Any thoughts?

Dream on. I agree it would be a fabulous enhancement, but I doubt we'll ever see it. Then again, I never thought we'd even be able to track our points online and we have that now. So I guess anything's possible!

Hey, you never know. That online dining reservation seems to be running pretty good. If they ever allow us to view availability online, might as well let us make reservation too....

It's not even viewing availability... If it is a system to simply book online, it is no different than online booking on the WDW website (at least for the DVC Resorts)...

I don't think it's as complicated to do as everyone thinks. If a hotel is booked for a night you won't be able to see it as a reservation option for the dates in play...

Most of the software programs available to DVC are actually Disney Parks and Resort programs. Online check in, dining, reservation look up, celebrations. There have been promises made that improvements are coming later this year, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I have my timeshare with another company and they are able to do it, so the technology is out there....

I don't think its very likely. Disney doesn't like to not meet expectations - and if a room is there today and my 7 month window is tomorrow and its GONE when I call, I'm going to be disappointed.

Don't know if the previous poster is talking about the same TS point system I own, but we can only see from the opening date of the window. No looking 1 day or 2 months ahead. I really like it and it's quick to make a reservation
