DVC at DL!

If you're thinking of buying into DVC, do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and check the resale market. You'll save yourself a ton of money.

I'm all for saving money, but I couldn't find a resell that would pass ROFR AND still cost less than SS at $86/pt with $800 in incentives, low closing, and financing.

Can you point me in the right direction?

If you're looking at a total of 300 points, I would think your best bet is to buy from Disney 150 points at SSR with the current promotion, then later add on at DL. Much faster then a resale.

The papers for the DCL 2008 summer west coast cruise has already been filed. Docking fees, taxes etc. No itinerary yet.

Yes ,thanks, I don't know how I missed that when it was right in front of me.
From what I hear, by the time these cruises are sailing DLR DVC will be under construction, along with major attraction additions in DCA.
I can't wait to here the official announcements, rumored to be happening this week.

While you are here gabbing on this message board the time is running out for that promotion. I belive it ends this week. If you want that $86 pp then do it Monday.

I agree with rinkwide you don't save a ton of money with resale but some. You can probably get a SSR resale to clear ROFR in the $82 range now that the promotion is still going on.

I am guess that the announcement will be made in CA and thus on West Coast time. Still only 8:30 there, but I am waiting anxiously to hear!
