So, Kem Potrock put this slide up, and talked about coming enhancements, exclusive experiences and new perks coming in 2914, but he didn't give any details.

To add to what Mike has shared:

1. VWL rehab - They are looking for a way to add the extra sleeper to this rehab. Not sure it will happen as they have to find a piece that will fit into the space.
2. Perks - Ken acknowledged DVC members rightfully should expect special treatment and perks. He has heard our request for perks for dining, shopping and tickets. Look for news about these to roll out in the weeks to follow.

Hopefully it will be better than the free D23 membership they announced last year. 7 or 8 months later we find out the free membership isn't worth much, don't even get a card.

I love VWL just the way it is, especially the deep reds and greens. I see they are taking that all away with the refurbishment.

Talk is cheap, let's see results. I'm not saying DVC owes us anything extra but don't make comments like that and not put anything behind it. If they had new things coming up for members, they could have at least announced one at the meeting.

I agree Debbie.

One thing I took issue with was when Ken boasted about a couple of circumstances where DVC stepped in to save member vacations. Once when I bride booked incorrect dates and another time when illness spoiled another member's. DVC came to the rescue and did special magic. He just set himself and DVC up for major disappointment to members still drinking the Kool-Aid. Yes, sometimes they do help, but the majority of us know that they cannot do this for all members that "feel" like they deserve special treatment.

Thanks for posting this information. As a new DVC member I am still in the dark about a lot of this stuff concerning DVC . I feel like once you are in nothing else is provided as far as information besides how much we owe them for dues! Thanks again for posting the information

Hope that DVC announces some great new perks like ticket discounts for those not purchasing an annual pass and possibly a few extra FastPass+ choices.
