DVC APs

Can I buy my APs with my DVC discount at SSR? or do I need to buy them before I get there?

You will not be able to purhase an AP at the resort. You will need to go to one of the theme parks or the Downtown Disney Guest relations. The Downtown Disney location has always been quick for us.

We find going to the park guest services to be the easiest if you don't want to purchase ahead of time. Even if you DO purchase a voucher ahead of time, you still need to go to guest relations to get the true passes, so having the voucher doesn't save you that, it just insures that you can get your passes before any price increase that might happen between when you buy a pass and when you travel and activate it.

you must have been reading my mind! I was just wondering if there would be any benefit to buying it online.

well we leave in 10 days so i don't think I'll be too concerned about price hike in the next 10 days. The only thing, i jsut realized, our first day will be thanksgiving day...so the line might be pretty line at Guest Services. oh well, that's what i get for waiting to buy them!
