DVC AP renewal question

DH is the member on our contract, and I am only an associatec (until VGF points go on sale, then I will be a member). My AP expires on 02/13/13. I have a trip planned with DH 01/20/13-01/28/13 and a trip planned without DH at the end of February.

Will I be able to renew my AP without DH there on 02/22 or should I renew it when we are all there at the end of the month? Will I get to keep the same renewal date even if I process the renewal at the end of January?

Assuming you live at the same address as your DH, you should be able to renew your DVC AP without him present. Be sure to bring a photo ID that shows your address along with your current AP. It wouldn't hurt to have a copy of his blue membership card along as well.

That said, why not renew it when you are there with him? You can renew an annual pass anytime from 30 days before expiration to 30 days after expiration. The renewal date will stay the same no matter when you renew within the renewal window.
