DVC AP discount + give a day?

Does anyone know if when you combine these 2 discounts, do you have to activate it right away? I would buy them this year but wouldn't need them until the summer of 2011, as I already have APs for this year. What a great savings, I hope we can do this! TIA

The Give A Day, Get A Disney Day is not a discount but an actual ticket. You can use the one day ticket you receive and apply it towards the cost of a DVC Annual Pass. You have to do this at WDW before the expiration of the Give A Day voucher.
