It's not a DVC annual pass you are getting. You are getting A DVC discount of $100.00 off the pass. I think they are $519.00 now, so for being a DVC Member you get $100.00 off the price which makes it, $419.00.

water parks and Disney Quest you have to get a premium annual pass. I'm not sure if DVC has that option.

If you want items other than the 4 main parks, parking at those parks, and park hopping between those parks you need to go with the DVC Premium Annual pass- which is most likely around $100 more per person. (we are FL residents so I don't look at the DVC prices)

I have never seen any information on a "DVC Annual Pass". Only this:

"Disney Vacation Club Members and their immediate family (living in the same household) are eligible to receive discounts on select new and renewed Walt Disney World Annual and Premium Annual Passes."

My annual pass is labeled:

'ANNUAL PASS RENEWAL DVC AGES(10+)'

And mine is 'FLORIDA RESIDENT ANNUAL PASS AGES(10+)' as the FL Resident passes are a unique class of tickets just like the DVC passes.

I have never seen any information on a "DVC Annual Pass". Only this:

I think it's all in the term 'discount' which means one thing to the consumer and another to Disney's ticketing system. Cheshire Figment would be a better source for explaining the difference, but from my understanding erionm said it about right. It is an AP, however it is in the system as a separate pass category with it's own pricing. When you buy online (if that is reactivated yet) it shows you the regular price and the discounted price - both show the same DVC price. No discounts applied.

If you recall back to those $25 'coupons' we had a couple years ago, if it were by the consumer's point of view an AP with a DVC discount of $100, then we would not have been allowed to apply that additional $25 discount. We were allowed to use the $25 discount cards.

What perks do you get with the DVC Annual Pass?

A DVC AP has all the same perks as the regular AP. Nothing more, nothing less.
