DVC Annual Pass renewal

I just went on line to view how much it would cost to renew the annual pass I purchased last year. I can't believe how much Disney wants to renew! I guess there is no special discount for DVC this year as there was last year....or should I wait to see? Right now the price is about $650 to renew the premium AP. Way over our budget......

I do not know where you are getting your prices from. If you are a DVC Member a renewal AP is $394 (plus tax) and a renewal PAP is $494.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #15-G and 18-A, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

It used to be that an Annual Pass made sense if you intended to go to the park for at least 10 days. Looking online, this doesn't seem to be the case anymore as 10 days of tickets costs $339. Using this site: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/renewal-information/, it says that renewing my AP will cost $552.74. Am I missing something? Reading something wrong, perhaps?

Because of the deep discount on DVC PAPs last year ($399) it was cheaper to buy 2 new ones than to buy one and renew for the next year.
