DVC Annual Pass Question

Can the Discounted AP be purchased with Disney Gift Cards? We get huge fuel discount through a local grocery store, and planned on buying large amounts of gift cards to get free gas. However, if we cant buy AP with Gift Cards, then we need to readjust how much we buy.

We are not quite members, hope to close/finalize in the coming weeks so cant check it out myself.

At any WDW ticket window we can accept an unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards for any transaction. My record is about 23 for a family that had purchased multiple APs.

If you were planning on purchasing the DVC passes thru DVC member services, they will only take 2 gift cards (learned this the hard way). Other people have posted that you can use more gift cards if you purchase thru Disney ticketing or as CF posted - at the theme parks.
