The gold pass AP is only valid at WDW. The blockoutdates are: January 1, 2016; March 19–April 1, 2016;December 16–31, 2016; January 1–2, 2017.

There is a pass that's valid on both coasts, it's the Disney Premier Passport and currently costs $1439.00 (plus 6.5% FL Tax on 50% of the purchase price).

I thought they did... Not specifically for DVC, but at one point they offered a pass with blackout dates. I think they were giving DVC a $20 discount. That was a few years back, so that may not be up to date info.

The DVC discount is a whopping $20 off on only 2 pass types...the Signature which is $849 and the Signature Plus which is $1,049. It only applies to new purchases and not renewals. For me, $829 and $1,029 (after the $20 savings) is still steep. There is a cheaper Deluxe pass that has a lot more blackout dates than the WDW gold pass but it doesn't include parking, or photo pass. I believe the Gold Pass includes those items.
